Daniel Carl Bieske of Chelsea, age 70, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2014, at his home.
He was born on Jan. 10, 1944, in Elyria, Ohio, the son of Carl and Jean (Reddington) Bieske. Dan had lived in the area since the mid-1970s, coming from Ohio.
He worked for Malloys for 24 years and then McNaughten and Gunn for five years before retiring. He enjoyed antiques, fairs, youth horse shows, rabbits, and his morning coffee at the Wolverine. Dan was Jaycee of the year in 1978 and also fulfilled his life-long dream of being an auctioneer by attending auctioneer school in Iowa.
