Celebrate the Summer Solstice at the Farmers Market on June 21

There will be a market basket giveaway at the Saturday Farmers Market on Main Street across from the new police station.

Market hours are 8 a.m.-noon and there will be music by Bill Personke beginning at 10 a.m.

Here’s what to expect from the vendors on Saturday.

* Cakes by Penny – Cinnamon and regular sour cream coffee cake
* Chandra June – Jewelry and garden art (will be returning soon in June)

Zatkovich-Farms* Frog Hollar Farms – Produce, home-baked breads and cakes, crafts, cut flowers, and more
* fresh – Locally roasted coffee beans, including Brazil Cerrado, a darker body bean with low acidic finish. A great espresso bean that allows for great variety.  Drop a blinko chip when you buy your first bag of the year.
* Goetz Greenhouse LLC –  hanging baskets, planters, annual flowers and accent plants, wide selection of herbs and fresh veggies, like summer squash, zucchini, broccoli, and cucumbers.
