At the Saturday Farmers Market on June 7

Kapnick-OrchardThe Saturday Farmers Market is open from 8 a.m.-noon in the former Palmer parking lot.

Events for this week include “Kid Friendly Veggies” an educational program by Tantre Farm beginning at 9 a.m.

This “Farm to Market Demonstration” will take place at both the Saturday Farmers Market and the Bushel Basket Market on Wednesday, June  11.

Learn about where food comes from in a fun, kid-friendly format with Tantre Farm. Fresh, seasonal veggies will be served in a variety of ways for taste tests. Stop by to vote for your favorites, collect recipes, or just say hello.

Demonstrations will be hourly.

Saturday-Farmers-Market-signIn addition, there will be a Multiple Sclerosis Walk Fundraiser bake sale, and a pot-painting demonstration by Veo Art Studio to get you in the mood to grow your own vegetables.

This week’s entertainment will be Hum and Strum beginning at 10 a.m.
