Attention Lyndon Township Residents: Broadband Transition Begins June 24

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Gary Munce for the information in this story.)

All Lyndon broadband subscribers will be transferred to our new internet service provider – ACD – during the week of June 24.

The migration will happen automatically and does not require any action on your part. As always, your patience is greatly appreciated.

Should you need any assistance during or following the migration – the ACD support team is available 24/7 at (517) 999-9999.

The migration of user accounts from MEC to ACD will take place the week of June 24.

Monday June 24, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am
Tuesday June 25, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am
Wednesday June 26, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am

Internet Conversion may be extended:
Thursday June 27, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am
Friday June 28, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am

Schedule for Phone Conversion:

Wednesday June 26, 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Thursday June 27, 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Friday June 28, 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm

The account migrations will occur between 10:00 pm and 6:00 am.  During that time, users will experience some disruption in their service. It is expected this disruption will be relatively short in duration. We are not able to give you a specified day for your duration.

Many residents have received Welcome Emails from [email protected] .  If you have not received an email, please make sure you have visited this website to submit your contact information and authorization to transfer phone service (if subscribed to Phone service) https://acd.net/lyndontownship/
Some residents are receiving shut off notices from MEC.

Some of these notices may have been sent in error. Others are the result of MEC sending automated shut off notices to those who have not paid their final bill.

When calls have been made to MEC to clarify this situation, people are being informed to return their equipment to MEC. DO NOT return any equipment. The equipment is owned by the township and will be used to provide service with our new provider ACD.

Thank You,
Lyndon Broadband Oversight Committee
