The fruits of summer are a good reason to stop by the Wednesday Chelsea Farmers Market this week.

Apples, pears, and blackberries join the growing selection of fresh, locally grown fruits.

Corn will be plentiful, as will tomatoes, green beans, zucchini, cucumbers, potatoes, eggplant, and micro greens.

Colorful flowers and plants will also be for sale.

Local vendors will be selling fresh baked goods, kettle corn, Polish foods, peanut butter, crafts, and more.

Stop by the Smokey Michigan food truck for a great selection of freshly prepared foods.

The Wednesday market runs from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and takes place in the parking lot of Chelsea State Bank located at 1010 S. Main St., at the corner of M-52 and Old US-12.
