Palmer Commons is the place to be Saturday morning for fresh produce, plants, flowers, and baked goods as well as the Third Annual Fashion & Home Show.

Beginning at 11 a.m., business owners will display merchandise including clothing and accessories, as well as garden and home goods.

The market runs from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. and is located at Palmer Commons on Main Street.

Fresh flower bouquets will be for sale. You’ll also find plenty of produce including tomatoes, sweet corn, a variety of peppers, zucchini, and green beans, along with peaches, blackberries, blueberries, cherries, plums, and melons.

Fresh baked breads, cakes, muffins, and cookies will be available. So will seasonings and hot sandwiches.

This week’s music will be provided by Kevin Brown.

There is a new regional (Chelsea, Grass Lake, Manchester and Stockbridge) food assistance program to help get healthy market food on the tables of those in need. It’s aimed at folks who don’t quite meet SNAP criteria. Be sure to inquire at the market.
