The Chelsea Farmers Market takes place each Saturday from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. in the Palmer parking lot.
Chelsea Update is profiling vendors at the Chelsea Farmers Market and this week Lands of Bru Garick is the featured vendor.
By Lisa Carolin
Lands of Bru Garick is a family business, and you can tell that by just by their name. It combines the names of co-owners Damian Bruce and Sabrina Edgar, and her mom Elizabeth Patrick.
“This crazy name was my way of making a family farm,” said Edgar.
This is their fourth year of having a CSA, and their first year at the Chelsea Farmers Market.
“It’s been good for us,” said Edgar. “We’ve gotten support from the Chelsea community.“
Lands of Bru Garick is located in Grass Lake. They sell cage free eggs with no hormones, no steroids, and no antibiotics, and feed their chickens flax seed. They also sell vegetables and hand crafted goods with a focus on “upcycling” fabrics.
Below is the list of vendors who are expected to be there. Please keep in mind that sometimes the vendors aren’t able to attend the market and that planned products are not available.
