It’s the Chelsea Community Fair parade day at the 83rd Annual Chelsea Community Fair on Saturday Aug. 28, and, sadly this marks the last day of this year’s fair.
Gates open at 10 a.m. and the rides begin at 1 p.m.
There’s a compact tractor pull in the Main Arena beginning at 8:30 a.m. and the Nature’s Creation of Life barn is open all day.
The parade begins at 1 p.m. and the Merchant Barn opens at the same time.
Bingo starts at 3 p.m. in the Knights of Columbus tent.
New this year is an alumni showmanship class in the Multi-Purpose Building at 6 p.m. and Sweepstakes Showmanship begins at 7 p.m.
Also at 7 p.m. in the Main Arena, there is 4-Wheel and 2-Wheel Drive Truck pulling contest.
Admission to the fair is $10 daily, children under 10 are free.
Parking is plentiful and free.
