There are only two weeks left in the Sounds and Sights on Thursday Nights summer concert series which began in June and runs through Aug.14.

Musical acts from across the spectrum are scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 7 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.

If you are looking for a mix of swing, blues and rockabilly check out The Shelter Dogs at the Glaizer Building or stroll down to the Clocktower Gazebo to see the rock band Of One.

New to the East Alley stage, singer-songwriter James Muto performs a diverse acoustic set while Skye Hilliam and Drake Morency present country, blues and rock at the Sylvan Courtyard.
Praised Americana and folk songwriters, Annie and Rod Capps, perform at Katie’s Korner on the library lawn and classic soul band, Salmagundi, hit the stage on East Middle Street.

Returning alternative rock band, Cold Tone Harvest, will showcase songs from their newly released EP, “Layers” at the South Street stage.

In addition to music, there is something for the whole family including fun balloons for the kids created by 3 Generations Twisters at the Main Street alley, and face painting by Dee Dee the Clown and the Face Painting Robot at the Clocktower Courtyard.

Visitors are also invited to experience the new installation of SculptureWalk Chelsea, a self-guided walking tour of 12 juried sculptures.

At dusk SRSLY Cinema presents “The Sound of Music” (G) on the lawn behind the Clocktower.
