Back Forty Acres to host ‘Outstanding on the Farm’ dinner event

Back Forty Acres in Sylvan Township welcomes everyone to another farm culinary adventure at 17410 Heim Road on Wednesday, Aug. 22.

There’s a reception from 3-4 p.m. and opening remarks and a farm tour from 4-5 p.m. to be followed by the dinner from 5-8 p.m.

Last summer, one very long table was set in the field, “white tablecloths and all and 152 diners were served, according to information about the event.

Although the meal is being kept under wraps, it will be prepared by Chef Brandon Johns from The Grange Kitchen & Bar sourced from Back Forty Acres and Tantre Farm and other local food and drink artisans.Tickets and more information can be found at this website.
