Tired of polar vortexes and arctic blasts?

Ready to get moving for spring?

Join Ballet Chelsea at their inaugural Tutu Run 5K on Saturday, March 29 at Hudson Mills Metropark in Dexter.

The Tutu Run will consist of a 5K race at 8:30 a.m. and a one-mile fun run/walk at 10 a.m. No dance experience is needed and all ages and abilities are welcome – and tutus are not required, but participants are encouraged to sport their tulle in style. For those who can’t sew or leave their duds at home, tutus will be available for purchase on site.

The Tutu Run will be held at Hudson Mills, 8801 N. Territorial Road.

Runners are encouraged to register on line here or visit tutu-run.com on Facebook.

On-site registration is available, as well, and check-in starts at 7 a.m. Entry fees: 5K $20, Fun Run $12. Amenities: Tutu Run t-shirts, refreshments for participants, parking, toilet facilities, time clock at finish and instant results.

Awards will be given for overall male and female winners as well as top finishers in each age category.  The event is held rain or shine.
