Are you interested in making walking and biking to school safer?
Then be a part of a Safe Routes to Schools’ “walking audit” on Saturday, Oct. 27 at 9 a.m. in downtown Chelsea.
As part of Chelsea Safe Routes to School, a group will walk several routes around Beach Middle School and South Meadows Elementary School.
The group will meet in front of Back to the Roots on Main Street at 9 a.m., take to the streets for the walk to be followed by a discussion and the event is expected to end by 11 a.m.
Organizers are encouraging families and children to participate. A light breakfast will be included.
