Beach football opened season on Sept. 17

Beach Middle School football players opened their season earlier this week. Here’s are the results.

7^th grade gold

The 7^th Grade Gold Football team lost to Tecumseh, and the score was 8-6 at the half with a Parker Shaw touchdown pass to Parker Murphy.

7^th grade blue

The 7th Grade Blue Football team started the season well against a tough Saline team.  Great contributions were made by Dane Zorn with a touchdown.  Quinn Starkey and Jacob Seitz both had interceptions to lead the defense.

8^th grade blue

The 8th Grade Blue Football team lost to Saline last night. The offense was led by the passing of Braden Steele and the running of Gus Reynolds and Patrick Bertoni.  The defense was led by Jeret Hirst with several tackles and a fumble recovery.  Other leading tacklers were Gus Reynolds and Max Andrews.
