The 7th grade gold boys’ basketball team lost a tough game to Adrian on Dec. 5. The Bulldogs had the lead going into the final quarter, but they could not get their shots to fall as Adrian finished with a 15-0 run to win 24-9. Ben Brown, Sam Yax, and Blake Engler played strong games for Chelsea. Adam Paul and Zach Yeakey did a great job rebounding for Chelsea.
The 7th grade blue basketball team lost to Saline, 16-8. The team is showing improvement this week and is playing better on the offense side. Playing well for the team were Kollin Pustay, Alex Sanborn, Cross Lucas, James Mida, Quinten Beck, Brendon Doyle and Grant Barrett.
The 8th grade gold basketball team dropped a close contest to Adrian, 21-19. The Bulldawgs did win two of the first three quarters behind strong efforts from Jacob Jacobusse, Cam Cooper and Matthew Klink. Ben Kaemming also chipped in from long range. The Dawgs return to action on Monday when they travel to Bedford.
The 8th grade blue basketball team lost to Saline, 27-10. Joey Wise and Ryan Mitchell scored 6 points each. Eric Whitaker and Brady Friss also scored for the Bulldogs. Lawrence Buckley played hard and had a nice assist.
