The Beach Middle School girls and boys track teams competed against Saline on April 28 and the Hornets won both the girls’ meet, 73-63, and the boys meet, 94-39.
For the girls, Caroline Hirth was first in the 3200m run, Jenna Gileczeck won the 55m hurdles and the pole vault, Kaehla Manly was first in the 100m dash and the 200m hurdles and Melissa Jolly won the shot put.
Chelsea girls also won the 800m relay, and the 400m relay.
For the boys, James Mida won the 55m hurdles and the shot put, and Michael Tarasow won the pole vault.
