The 7th and 8th grade Beach Middle School cross country team recently competed at the Pinckney Pirate Challenge.
Some standout performances were made by Jimmy Alford placing 9th in 8th grade boys race and Sarah Kennings placing 6th in 8th grade girls race.
In the 7th grade boys race, Parker Olk placed 14th, while Cedar Hughes placed 15th girls race.
No team scores were kept.
