The Beach Middle School Swim Team started its season with a big win at Adrian, 137-32.
First place finishers were the 200 Medley Relay team of Ava Nelsen, Abby Robbins, Olivia Olk, and Erin McDonnell; Alexis Nelson in the 200 and 100 freestyle events; Robbins in the 100 IM and 100 Breaststroke; Wes Wickens in the 50 freestyle and 50 butterfly; Melina Almhiemid in the diving event; the 200 freestyle relay team of Wickens, McDonnell, Olk and Nelson; Rheana Grudzinski in the 100 backstroke event and the 400 freestyle relay team of Wickens, Olivia Ousley, Grudzinski and Nelson.
The team’s next meet is at home against Tecumseh on Monday, Dec. 15.
