Beach Middle School volleyball recap

7th grade gold
The 7th grade gold volleyball team had a great week beating Lincoln on Monday and then Dexter on Wednesday.

Leading server was Megan McCalla serving 31 points on Monday. Anna Reisner had 8 points, Kayla Munson had 7 points and Kierstin Smith closed out the Dexter win with 4 points in a row.

Great passing from Sami Nye, Amelia Christie, Zoe Rezler, Emma and Miklaya Leonard.

The team wraps up their season Monday at Adrian. They currently are 6-4 on the season.

8th grade blue
Chelsea 8th grade blue volleyball traveled to Dexter splitting with Dexter 11-25 25-19 and losing 3rd game 23-25.

Breigha Vowels brought the heat in the 2nd game with strong serving and just all around playing her best ball of the season.

Rachel Hein put icing on the cake winning the game with her game point serve.  The team stepped up and played strong.

8th grade gold
The 8th grade gold volleyball team had a slow start to the match against Dexter last night losing the first game by a large margin. But the team didn’t let that stop them.

They came back to win the next two games and the match.

Erin Dusenbury led the way with 7 points in a row in the second game. Lily June served for 8 points in the last game and McKenna Major had 5 serves for the night.

The team’s season record is now 5 and 5 as they head in to their last game on Monday against Adrian.
