Beach Middle School volleyball recap

7th grade blue
The 7th grade blue Volleyball team won on the road at Monroe Wednesday night taking the first set, 25-12, losing the 2nd 15-25 and winning the 3rd 25-18.

Sasha French stepped in to help the team with 13 serve points including 10 straight in the first set.

Kate Krugh had another good outing with 9 points.

The team showed improvement in passing and communication.

7th grade gold
The 7th grade gold volleyball team played a home match and stole a victory vs Lincoln for another big win.

The Bulldogs came out hard the first set and won 25-17 with the amazing serving of Charlotte Diesing who sailed the ball over the net for 10 points in a row.

Arianne Hunter also had server success on the court during the first game. Chelsea continued the fight in the second set with the consistent serving and passing of Gabriella Basar before losing 20-25.

With the match on the line, the Bulldogs pulled together with teamwork and took the third set 25-15.

8th grade gold
The 8th grade gold volleyball lost a close match with Lincoln Wednesday night.

The girls won this first game 25-18 with the help of good serving by Meghan Boughton with 7 serves, Caitlin White with 4 and Jordan Siefert with 3 serves.

The team lost the second game 20-25, despite Sierra Suntheimer’s run of 8 points.

The third game went back and forth with great effort from everyone on the team but they lost by a close margin of 25-23.

8th grade blue
Chelsea 8th grade blue split with Monroe 25-13, 14-25, 20-25.

Top 3 servers for the night Annestyn Law, Kayla Munson and Anna Reisner.

Sami Nye stepped it up and ran setter for all 3games. Molly Sobiechowski played her best game so far this year. Emma Leonard stayed strong in back row getting the ball up.

Hayley Hice played middle front and stayed strong at the net. Mikaila Leonard swung out-side and did well.
