7th Grade Gold

Results of Wednesday 10/5 Match at Monroe:

The girls lost 0-3 to the Trojans on Wednesday night. Erin Dusenbury had great saves deep in the court to keep us in all three games while Sophia Tolliver had good net play pushing balls deep into Monroe’s side.

The second set was a close game 23-25 with Belle Pustay‘s three serves including an ace. Breigha Vowles kept us in the game at the end with a 4-point serving run. It was a good effort from the Bulldogs.

8th Grade Blue

The 8th grade blue got a big win last night against Lincoln. The girls worked hard, played together, and fought until the end with a clean sweep.

Kasey Matsuik worked the nets and scored some spike kills and blocks throughout the night. Sierra the setter Martinez-Kratz played great defense all night, and Breann Black had some great serves that helped lead the girls to victory.

Lauren Allison and Emma Zocharski also lead the Blue team with serves, both earning aces for the team. This weekend the girls travel to Adrian for their tournament. Go Bulldogs.

7th Grade Blue

The 7th grade Blue Volleyball Team defeated Lincoln last night winning the first set 25-17, losing the 2nd 20-25 and winning the 3rd set 26-24.

Rachel Hein led with 13 serve points, Ellie McGlashen had 12, Mya Spadafore 3, Lily June 2 and Mallory Meads, Kristina Skiotys, Klara Kuebler and Tessa Wheeler each had 1. The team showed great improvement in their passing.

8th Grade Gold

8th grade gold volleyball played Monroe Wednesday night and lost 17-25,17-25, and 20-25.

Mya Dever and Peggy Smith played aggressively against a hard serving Monroe team.

Emily McCalla  and Mya led the Bulldog serving points for the night. Natalie Bareis had good passes from the back row and a tip-kill in the front row. Laura Koch had a kill as well. The team battled hard the whole night.
