7 Blue
The 7th grade blue volleyball team definitely saved its best for last, defeating Lincoln.

The team won the first set 25-17, lost a close one in the second set 21-25 and won the 3rd set 25-9.

Sophie Knickerbocker not only got her first serve point but then served 3 in a row. Elleri Maute and Luna Matteocci had some outstanding passes against Lincoln’s best server.

Kylie Beckel led with an amazing 17 serve points, Emily White and Alaina James had 8 each, Knickerbocker 3, Addi Kennedy 2 and Ellie Kuck, Matteocci and Jazmine Ropp each had 1.

Great plays on the floor were turned in by Izzy Hepburn, Kate Glendening, Camryn Rossi, Claire Ashe, and Megan Sherry.

8 Blue
Chelsea’s 8th grade blue volleyball team closed out its season with a loss, 25-14, 8-25, 20-25.

Chelsea struggled with serving, but the defense and offense was strong.

“It was amazing to have Chelsea’s 8th grade gold volleyball team and coaching staff there cheering for us.” The coach said.

“There may be people that have more talented than you, but there’s no excuse for anyone to work harder than you,” the coach said.
