Beach Middle School Volleyball Season Underway

7th grade blue volleyball

The 7 Blue volleyball team started its season off strong with a win for their first match.

The Dawgs dominated Lincoln the first set 25-13 with strong servers Nora Grabarkiewicz and Camilla Hurst.

They also won the second set 26-24 with support on the court of Melayna Minyard.

The third set was a loss 23-25, however, the score was close all the way to the end.

Chelsea will travel to Dexter this Wednesday for their first away match.

7th grade gold volleyball

Gold loses its opening match to a tough Adrian team.

Avery Scheffler was the outstanding server. Racking up 9 points for her Bulldog team.

Delanie Monica was a tough serve receiver against some hard hit serves.

Myaih Post racked up a couple serving points and played tough defense at the net.

8th grade blue volleyball

What a great night to start off season with a win, beating Lincoln 25-8, 20-25, 25-15.

There was strong serving from Lexi Cummer, Mia Kuboushek, and Brooklyn Angel that set the tone for the win.

The whole team played well, learning position and rotations.

8th grade gold volleyball

Eighth grade gold volleyball played their season opener against Adrian Monday night.

The team got off to a slow start in the first set losing 8-25. The second set was a close game, but the Bulldogs came from behind to win 26-24. The last set was exciting, but the team lost the set and match 9-15.

Ella Root played amazing all night with several digs, saves and attacks. She had a total of 10 serves. Lyla Dabbs also played well at the net and had 7 serves.

Emma Ruszkiewicz finished with 4 serves and 3 hits at the net.
