7 Blue
The 7th grade blue volleyball team kept it close at Saline Monday night but lost all three sets, 21-25, 10-26 and 20-25.

Emily White and Jazmine Ropp each served 7 points, Kylie Beckel and Elleri Maute each served 5, Ellie Kuck 2 and Alaina James, Claire Ashe and Izzy Hepburn each had 1.

The team showed great improvement in the passing game with several bump, set, spikes.

7 Gold
The 7th grade gold team suffered a loss to the Tecumseh Indians after some exciting play on the court.

The Bulldogs lost the close scoring first set 26-24 before rallying to win the second set 25-10.

The final set and match was lost by Chelsea 25-10.

Madeline and Maggie McKale and Avery Lay continue good serving. Anna Brant also stepped up and got all of her serves over the net for 5 in a row helping the team win the second set.

Shea Hephner had a successful hit from Amy Budd’s nice set who also had good play at the net.

The Dawgs take on the Dreadnaughts at Dexter today.

8 Gold
The 8th grade gold volleyball team won its first set against Tecumseh Monday night but dropped the last two sets by only 2 points. (25-19, 24-26, 25-27).

It was a battle back and forth until the end.

Leading servers were Jenna Ouellette (who served 10 points in a row and 19 points for the night), Charlotte Diesing, and Tori Parisho also served well.

Piper Diesing and Emma Ward both had good plays at the net.

The two teams were evenly matched and all three sets were exciting to watch.

8 Blue
The 8th grade blue volleyball team traveled to Saline split, then lost last set 25-23, 5-25, 21-25.

Maya Valik and Addie McCarthy had great tips and hits at the net. There were struggles last night with playing different line ups and different positions for the team. But it will only make the Bulldogs stronger to be able to play any position according to need.
