8th grade blue
8th grade blue volleyball captured the win last night 25-20, 22-25 and 25-13.
Strong servers were Megan Brown who had a 13-point run plus many other points for the night. Marlo Gobbo, Zora Ziolkowski, Kendall Kuck and Nia King also stood strong a service line and added points. Cara Kloos, Adri Yado, and Aria Waldron had some strong kills at the net.
Melayna Minyard stood tall and ran setter. Persephon Berg, Clara Baghdoian and Amelia Baker played strong at net and kept the ball in play.
Avery Scheffler was out with an injury but was a positive teammate on the bench.
7th grade blue
The 7Blue volleyball is happy to report winning their match vs Lincoln on Monday.
The Dawgs won set one easily 25-13 and continued with a 25-23 win and finally a 25-21 win.
Highlights include Brooke Hurst with consistent serves and also Eleanor Hoornhurst. Madi Hedding and Kylie Koester also had a great sets.
8th grade gold
8th grade Gold Volleyball won their match against Ypsilanti last night in two sets. The team had awesome serving from Kiley Ellis, Ceci DeLong and Iris Rouech.
Abby Peterson had a nice hit at the net and Lucy Martindale and Nora Grabarkiewicz played well at the net.
Great job team.
7th grade gold
7th grade Gold volleyball won its game against Ypsilanti, the first match was 25-5 and the final match was 25-17.
Abria Eckert was a rock star at the net and Kate Morris also had some nice saves. Gianna Barney served up the gold team once again.
Great communication and team comradery overall.
