Beach Middle School weekend volleyball results

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Jason Morris and Kim Eder of Beach Middle School for the results in this story.)

The Beach Middle School 8th grade blue volleyball team played outstanding in all three matches of the SEC Tournament this weekend. Highlights were Kylie Kuebler‘s serving, Abby Bareis‘ quick hands on the net, and Skylar Kerr‘s digs in the back row.

The entire team should be proud of their consistent serving, aggressive play, and teamwork in the tournament.

The 8th grade volleyball team also played hard this weekend, splitting wins with Lincoln and Dexter and losing to Tecumseh. Leading servers for the day were Anna Knight with 11, Autumn Johnson with 8, Kelsey Walz with 5, followed by Megan Harrington, Cassie Lungo, Hannah Stock and Olivia Byrd with 3 each.

Sara Stribe and Autumn Johnson had 2 spikes each. Jade deGracia and Lungo each had 1 spike. Good effort from everyone and the team traveled to Lincoln Monday night.
