The Beach Middle School Wrestling team traveled to Jackson to wrestle Jackson and Pinckney last Tuesday. The team wrestled well.
One of the most exciting matches of the day was Jackson Blaker defeating his Jackson opponent 15-12.
Alex Grifka was able to tough out a hard fought 5-1 victory over his Jackson opponent.
Other wrestlers who were able to win at least 1 match were Otis Spike, Johnathan Price, Owen Sponsler, Cole Brazitis, TJ Anderson, Austin Coy, Axel Looker, Felipe Adam-Rita, Mason Collins, Sam Kneffel, Nicholas Adam-Rita, Matheus Adam-Rita, Kaine Vargo, Felix Zemper, and Logan Dawson.
The wrestlers compete today in Tecumseh.
