Beach Middle School wrestlers open season with a win

(Chelsea Update would like to thank coach Adam French and Middle School Athletic Director Jason Morris for the information in this story.)

In its opening match of the season, the Beach Middle School wrestling Bulldogs took on the Railsplitters of Lincoln and walked away with an exciting 44-38 victory.

Winning matches for the Bulldogs were Aiden Chisolm, Quinton Clark, Ethan Corkin-Howell, Ryan Bost and Matt VanBuren.

Picking up major team points to secure the team win with voids were: Jacob Jacobusse, Dominic Trobraugh, Zack Yeakey, Nick Bliese, and Zack Taylor.

The match of the day was Bost’s 6-4 overtime victory.

The middle school wrestlers are headed to Tecumseh this weekend.
