The Beach Middle School wrestling team traveled to the Fowlerville individual tournament last Friday. The wrestlers turned in an outstanding performance finishing with 12 first-place finishes and ten second-place finishes.
First place finishes were: Jack Buehler, Gabriel Siler, Patrick Rossow, Otis Spike, Jackson Blaker, Axel Looker, Sam Kneffel, Nicholas Adam-Rita, Matheus Adam-Rita, Mary Grifka, Tucker Klink, and Kellan Howard.
Finishing in second place were: Austin Wetzel, Austin Coy, Evan Reasey-Day, Mason Collins, DJ Gnass, Kaine Vargo, Ross Perales, Luke Ryan, Noah Lesser, and Logan Dawson.
Also winning at least one match on the day were: Weston Eckert, Landon Scripter, Gerry Valchine, Katlynn Vasas, Jack Milkey, Johnathan Price, Owen Sponsler, Leo Wine, Alex Grifka, Felipe Adam-Rita, Brayden Rantz, and Felix Zemper.
The wrestlers next compete Tuesday after school at the high school auxiliary gym. Come cheer on the wrestlers as it will be their last meet in Chelsea this season. Wrestling starts about 4:15pm.
