The Beach Middle School Wrestling team hosted Bedford and Saline in the high school auxiliary gym on Tuesday. The team had a great showing and was able to win 21 out of 31 matches in the evening.
The performance of the night belonged to Aiden Bowman. In his first match against Saline he was trailing 5-2 with 30 seconds left and was able to hit a move on his Saline opponent sending him from his feet straight to his back. He was able to get the fall with 4 seconds left. In Aiden’s second match against Bedford the match went into overtime and he was able to get a takedown to win the match 5-3.
Other wrestlers to win at least one match were Collin Beckel, T Hephner, Hunter Murphy, Landon Conley, Xander Kemner, Leo Alafita, Jeffrey Geer, Logan Holzhausen, Palmer Hurst, Ethan Fody, and Emerson Kiebler.
