On Feb. 17, the Beach Middle School Wrestling team traveled to Saline for a tri-meet against Saline and Tecumseh.
“It was nice to see solid competition against Saline and Tecumseh. Those two schools have a rich tradition and it is a great test to see how we are improving against schools of that size and caliber. I’m looking forward to our two final competitions,” said Head Coach Shane Rodriguez.
Earning one or two wins on the mat were Caleb Heller, Zoephya Nemeth, Jack Nielson, Jonny Price, Phoenix Steckler, Gordon Thompson, Avin Trevino, Jacob Tucker, Katlynn Vasas, Bo Wacker, Breslin Wade, August Wine, and Oliver Yeo.
Your Bulldogs will be hosting the SEC Championships on Saturday, Feb. 21 at Chelsea High School. The matches will start around 9:00 a.m.
