Beach Middle School X-C kicks off season at Hillsdale Invite

The Beach Middle School cross country teams competed in the Hillsdale Academy Invitational held at Hayden Park in Hillsdale on Friday, Sept. 11.

The three teams did a good job overall for the first race of the season. It was a 1-mile cross country race with a variety of schools participating.

Chelsea boys won the junior varsity race with 32 points. Alex Martin led the group with a 2nd place finish.

The boys placed 5th out of 8 teams with 110 points in the varsity race. Beckett Boos placed 4th overall and was the top 7th grade boy in the race.

The girls won their race with 48 points beating four other teams. Christina Roberts led the squad with a 2nd place overall.

Chelsea will host Pinckney in a dual meet at Chelsea on Wednesday, Sept. 16.
