Beach Middle School X-C season ends with many personal bests

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Loren Thorburn for the information in this story.)

Beach Middle School Cross Country teams ended their seasons at the annual Mega Jam held at Hudson-Mills Metropark on Saturday, Oct. 20.

The teams ended the season with an impressive finish with 17 out of 20 runners who competed run either a season best or a personal record (PR).

Individually for the boys, Xavier Navin ran almost a 3-minute PR.

Jacob Andreski ran a season best time of 13:03, while Evan Grudzinski ran well despite being sick – to help his team score 8th out of 16 teams.

For the girls, their varsity team placed 12th out 16 teams, while the reserve girls team placed 10th out of 11 teams.

Individually, Lillian Paddock and Bella Hagen both dropped their times again and ran about 40 seconds faster than their prior races.

The coaches are proud of the work ethic, positive attitudes, and dedication this season from all the runners.
