Beach Middle School’s diver Mitchell Brown breaks his own school record

The Beach Middle School Swim Team won at home Wednesday night defeating Monroe, 133-31.

Mitchell Brown had a big night by breaking his own school record in the diving event. His score of 239.80 topped his old record by over 2 points. He also won the 100 IM, swam the butterfly leg of the winning 200 medley relay and was the anchor leg of the winning 200 freestyle relay.

The 400 freestyle relay team of Keygan Monahan, Caroline Knight, Jenna Ouellette and Trilian Krug turned in a qualifying time for the MISCA State Invitational.

Other first place finishers were Jack Leissner, Joseph Grudzinski, and Emma Zachrich.

Great performances were turned in by Gabriella Burgess, Jackie Dell, Abe Elandt, Lily Hansen, Marina Hinz-Johnson, Clara Johnson, Addi Kennedy, Aiden Kidd, Alyssa Kint, Xavier Navin, Camryn Rossi, Lily Snyder, Jake Ward, Sabrina Wescott, Kai Ziolkowski, Tallulah Gorby, and Lily Paddock.
