Patrick Bertoni and Caroline Hirth were recently recognized as two of the top 120 scholar-athletes in the state.
“We are excited for both of them as they are announced as finalists for the MHSAA scholar-athlete award,” said Chelsea High School Athletic Director Brad Bush, who added, “Both of them are great examples of what a student-athlete is all about.”
Bertoni plays football and basketball and Hirth runs cross country and plays softball.
“Both of them are excellent students who are involved in the community,” Bush said, adding, “Patrick is a student member of the board of education.”
