This month’s Best of Chelsea brings us to the Clocktower and the Advanced Dental Group owned by Dr. Steve Rodriguez.
Steve has been working in the dental field since 2002 and started off in Redford. He now has seven locations. He and his wife, Amy, wanted to raise their kids in Chelsea, so they settled here.
The Chelsea practice opened in 2012, and he has continued to support the community as he did even before opening the office. “My kids are here, responsibility starts at home and in the schools, and when you have a strong community, you have growth and values go up.”
My first experience with the office was when my son brought his Halloween candy in to have it sent to the troops and received an electric toothbrush in return. Since then, my family and I have been utilizing their services for our dental care.
It’s a family environment and you can tell that their team works well together, everyone knows their place and helps each other out. Work longevity is a sign of a healthy workplace as well. Lisa, who has worked for Steve for 17 years said, “You don’t often find a boss that you have to try to keep up with. He is very involved and highly motivated.”
Everything the office offers is focused on the customer, providing them with quality service in a timely and affordable manner. After I had a procedure done, Steve called to “check in to see how I was feeling.”
How many dentists do that?
In past years, Advanced Dental Group has been supporting Sights and Sounds, their staff even takes their own time and volunteers for different events. They have been supporting the little league, softball and baseball teams, and chalk art. They have supported the VFW golf outing and are providing custom mouth guards for all school sports teams in Chelsea.
What a blessing to keep our kids safe.
Advanced Dental Group offers weekend and evening appointments, they are a PPO provider, offer dentures in 24 hours, have in-house labs, and offer financing.
