The Chelsea Area Chamber of Commerce is hosting a toy and food drive for Faith in Action (FIA) through Dec. 19.
Toys for Tots and Teens and the food drive drop off points are located at Palmer Auto Service lobby downtown, Michael O’Quinn Edward Jones office at 1100 South Main St. and The UPS Store near Blockbuster on M-52.
Please keep in mind that these toys as well as the food stays in the Chelsea area.
In addition, this year there is a serious need for donations of food, and “cases” of food are needed — as FIA is packing more and more food boxes for families who receive assistance.
The need during Christmas is always great, so if possible when doing your holiday shopping, pick up a case rather than a can and make a donation. You do not need to be a member of the chamber to participate.
