The Chelsea Area Senior Center will begin a new series of classes that will explore new art forms each month.
Discover how art can help keep minds active and improve memory.
On Friday, April 26 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. explore “The Importance of Color” and its impact on your life, and use pastels to develop your color palette.
Instructor Liz Wilson holds both a BFA and MFA from the University of Michigan, and owns VEO Art Studio in Chelsea.
The cost is just $5 for the first class.
In May, explore “Bas relief sculpting,” a fascinating combination of drawing and sculpting.
Instructor Liz Wilson will provide inspiration to create your own scene in clay. This class takes place on Friday, May 24 from 9:30-11:30 a.m.
The cost is $22 for members and $25 for non-members.
