Jackson outplaced Chelsea at the Bulldogs’ home invitational last Friday by 2 points.

Tuesday, the Bulldogs were laser focused on avenging that defeat and pulled together a total team victory.

“Our strength in numbers showed by being able to sweep the Vikings in 6 individual events,” said head coach David Slusser., who added, “Our distance squad dominated the night by sweeping all 3 distance events and winning the 4×800 relay.”

Nick Spruce continued his reign of victories this season with wins in the 200 and 400. “His 200-meter dash was one of the greatest races I have seen in my coaching career, which he won by 0.03 seconds by out leaning his competitor at the finish line,” Slusser said.

The team recorded 57 personal bests at a cold, windy meet.
