The Larry Steeb Meet of Champions for track and field took place Tuesday in Dexter and Chelsea’s team took part.
This meet is a reward for the top athletes at the end of the season said coach Eric Swager.
“It was a warm, beautiful day with many of the top athletes in the state competing,” he said, adding, “We recorded some lifetime bests and earned a few medals.”
The season culminates at the MHSAA State finals on Saturday.
“It looks like another beautiful weekend, and I look forward to a fun day,” Swager said.
