Chelsea boys track traveled to Hillsdale on Thursday, March 30 with a limited squad to a smaller meet, but a nice facility and some decent competition.
The Bulldogs earned almost 20 medals, with some of the highlights being:
In the 1600 run, Liam Heaney and Carson Rabbitt went 1-2, with freshman Will Scott going under 5:00 and taking 5th.
The 3200 run saw Jensen Holm and Foster Thorburn go 2-3 with PR’s.
Chris Roush had a great day, earning 3 medals in the 200, 400, and High jump
Josh Wilkerson tied a lifetime best in the Pole Vault, along with 2nd.
Several young runners earned their first placings. We still have much improvement ahead, and some big holes to fill, but there definitely were some bright spots.
The team’s next meet is April 11 after spring break when the Bulldogs travel to Tecumseh.
