Chelsea Community Kitchen will begin 2015 with a set of free, budget-friendly classes.
Learn more about eating healthy on a limited budget and sample delicious, inspiring recipes from “Good and Cheap: Eat Well on $4/Day” by Leanne Brown. There will also be a discussion based on the USDA Eating Better on a Budget, led by MSU Extension nutrition instructor Mary Donaldson.
CCK will offer three similar classes at three different locations in January, February and March. The first class will be Thursday, Jan. 28 at Faith in Action Building at 7 p.m.
The February and March class details will be announced soon.
Good and Cheap classes are done by Chelsea Community Kitchen in partnership with Faith in Action, Interfaith Council for Peace and Justice, and MSU Extension, with funding from the Chelsea Wellness Foundation.
