Coaches comments from Pat Clarke: “We again ran an excellent race. Junior Artemis Eyster had a great race to lead us to 2nd junior-Senior race with a first-place time of 19:54. Freshman Jesse Jacobusse won the Sophomore-freshman race in a fine time of 20:03.Teammate sophomore Karanna Wickens followed Jesse in second place at 20:47, and sophomore Sandra Gofton had a PR to place 8th a low score of 11 points.
In all eight of the eleven girls that ran won medals. We have been working very hard in practice this week. I was amazed that they ran as well as they did after that week. We still have a long way to go to reach our season goals, but we are definitely on the right track. We are really coming together as a team, which is the most important thing at this point in the season.”
