On May 6, the Chelsea Boy’s Golf Team traveled to Lenawee Country Club for a match against the Adrian Maples, and came away with a very close victory 183 to 186.
“None of our guys have played Lenawee before, and although I wouldn’t say it is real difficult, I would say it can be quite
tricky,” Ewald said.
The bright spot of the day was Joe Slusser with a fine round of 41, his best of the year, the coach said.
Also scoring for the Bulldogs was Michael Purdy with a 44, JJ Duncan with a 48, and Zach McKinley with a 50.
On Wednesday, May 8, the Match Vs. Lincoln was cancelled due to lightning after 5 or 6 holes, and will be re-scheduled at
Pine View Golf Course on Wednesday, May 15.
