(Chelsea Update would like to thank Shawn Sinacola for the information in this story.)
In light of the upcoming holiday season, when many families experience budget strain, the Chelsea High School Arbor Club has partnered with students of Independence Hall to find a way to minimize the stress of grocery bills for people who might be struggling financially.
Well-known, the Little Lending Library is a fun resource on campus to help teens have an accessible way to experience new books and give back to the community. For this holiday season however, we have decided to switch the contents of the lending library from books to food, with the goal to support a wide range of people during a financially difficult time.
If you or someone you know could benefit from extra help, or if you are in a position to give back to your community, please feel free to check out our new Little Lending Library, located between the CHS front office and the CHS Alumni Arbor.
Contact [email protected] or [email protected] if you have any questions.
