Approximately 47 Class of 1972 members enjoyed catching up with each other at their 50th reunion.
The classmates, spouses, and guests had several opportunities to see sights around town, too.
Friday night, many gathered at the football game to cheer their alma mater.
Saturday, class member Wayne Welton and Chelsea’s Superintendent of Schools Mike Kapolka, gave tours of Chelsea High School and the Washington Street Center. The Washington Street Center, known to the Class of ’72, as their high school, brought back many memories and stories to the attendees.
A group of classmates toured the Chelsea Historical Society. This building was formally the home of one of our classmates. The Barn Sanctuary was toured under the guidance of classmate, Tom McKernan. All these opportunities preceded the meet and greet at the Valiant Restaurant. The staff and owners of the Valiant provided a wonderful setting for all.
