Chelsea 7Blue started the weekend matches with a win vs Pinckney.
Great serving was seen first match by Delanie Maute with 14 serves over the net and multiple aces and supported by good servers Camila Hurst and Savannah Burk.
Rose Ramos had good play on the court returning balls from both front row and back row. The Dawgs won match with first set 25-23, won the second set 25-19, and Pinckney Pirates won the final set 15-12.
Chelsea 7Blue then played Parkside Jackson in final match of the day. Chelsea fell during set one 17-25 and set two 21-25.
Strong servers included Delanie Maute, Aria Waldron, and Natalie Boos.
After the defeat, they came back stronger with a close third set and won 15-12.
The team overall is seeing improvement weekly and continues to gain experience each match.

8th Grade Blue
Chelsea 8 blue volleyball traveled to Jackson Parkside Thursday bringing home the win, 25-15,14 -25, 25-17.
Outside hitters Addie Howard, Kate McKenzie, Colbie McCarty and Tess Matthews played strong at the net.
Middles Brooklyn Angel, Mia Kuboushek, Gabriela Rudolph and Aubrey Trent stepped up and did their job.
Setters Ally Singer, Kaelyn Mannor, Carmen Aldighieri and Lexi Cummer worked hard and got the set up to the front row.
There were a few hiccups Thursday night, but I was pleased on the teamwork, the coach said.
Top server for the night was Mia Kuboushek with an unstoppable run with 14 points.
8th grade Gold
8th grade gold volleyball won their match against Pinckney Thursday night, 25-19, 25-20, 13-25.
Highlights included several well placed tips by Sasha Henriksen and Emma Ruszkiewicz, as well as solid passing and serving by Bella Radomski.
Karlie VanRemortel and Hailey Henschel showed great hustle.
Ella Root had a very strong night with several digs and lead the Bulldog serving with 17, which included 6 aces.
Other leading servers were Emma R. with 10, and Sasha H., with 7.
Great job team.
7th Grade Blue
The Dawgs brought home the match win vs Parkside after working hard during practice all week.
They came out strong in set one with a 25-15 win and Aria Waldron leading the charge with multiple serves over the net.
Melayna Minyard had good overall play and dynamic overhead serves during the match plus showed her consistency on the court.
Chelsea also won the second set 25-19 and Savannah Burk and Lucia Martindale contributed with their serves over net.
Rose Ramos had good net play in the front row.
Parkside Jackson won the final set 25-14.
