The Chelsea JV football team (1-1) lost 14-6 in a tough game at Brighton in the second game of the season.
Ethan Povlich ran for 100 yards, Myles Bieber kicked two field goals, and Boaz Strong and Jack Orlandi turned in big games defensively.
“We had two bad turnovers early in the first quarter that led to a 14-0 deficit,” said coach Dennis Strzyzewski. “We played pretty well after that, but we just couldn’t finish drives. Give Brighton credit. They were very sound in defense.
