Chelsea Kiwanis announces reopening of Ann Arbor Kiwanis Club Thrift Shop

(Chelsea Update would like to thank Bob Milbrodt for the information in this story.)

The Chelsea Kiwanis Club has been meeting via Zoom during this pandemic, and has long supported the treatment programs offered by the folks at Dawn Farm for those suffering from addiction to substances like alcohol and drugs.

Next month, Dawn Farm will have its annual Jamboree, held online this year. Please join us by participating in this worthy cause. For more information, please click here.

Our friends in the Kiwanis family at the Ann Arbor Kiwanis Club are pleased to announce its popular Thrift Sale is reopening after being closed due to the coronavirus. Safety protocols are in place.

Donations will be accepted on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting Sept. 15 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and the sale will open for business on Saturday, Sept. 19, from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. They are located on Jackson Road across from Menard’s.

Please visit the website for details.

Normally, Chelsea Kiwanis meets each Monday at 6:15 p.m. in the St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Hospital cafeteria, and the speakers begin at about 6:45 p.m.
