Last Saturday, Chelsea Kiwanis staffed a water station for last Saturday’s Heart & Sole Run/Walk.

The weather was perfect for the runners, cloudy, and neither to cold nor too hot. It was good to see so many people out getting some good exercise, including members of St. Louis Center’s Aktion Club. The members are part of the Kiwanis family.

Monday, the club has invited the Chelsea Boy Scout Troops and Cub Scout Packs for our annual celebration of the service they do while building character and having fun simultaneously.

Club members forward to hearing about their scouting adventures this past year, and what’s planned in the future. It gives the younger boys some public speaking experience.

Chelsea Kiwanis meets each Monday at 6:15 p.m. in the St. Joseph Mercy Chelsea Hospital cafeteria, and the speakers begin at about 6:45 p.m.

Everyone is invited to the club’s meetings to enjoy our speakers and learn about Kiwanis.
