8 Blue
8th Grade Blue volleyball battled Dexter Monday night. The team’s efforts shone through as we took them in the first two sets.

Star servers of the night were Phoenix Massey, Norah Hurst, Maddy Myles, and Paisley Myers. At the net, Norah Hurst had a big night with three amazing kills and two major blocks to shut the Dreads down.

Our setters, Chelsea Atwell and Maddy Myles worked the court and had many assists throughout each set. Solid back row passing and coverage by Anna Norton, Jade Siefert, Gabby Young, Milieya Nemeth, and June Goble kept our team in the game.

Way to go girls.

Highlights include strong serving from Jordyn Ferry, Quinn Jeffreys, Adeline Kuck, Harper Koch and Lila Palmer.

Charlotte Wolff and Ellie Irwin passed well, while Macie Coffey and Julia Corcoran did a solid job setting and covering the floor in game two.

It was truly a team effort all night long.

7 Blue
The 7Blue volleyball team powered up Monday night and won the match vs the always tough Dexter team: set one win 25-7, set two loss 14-25, and set three win 27-25.

Great long rallies happened during set one with Gracie Donajkowski and Molly Skrypec serving consistently along with Hyleigh Hurst missing none of her 16 serving opportunities. Hallie Jaworski and Madelyn Smashey had some good net play in set two and Lily Valchine performing some quality passes along with Aubrey Webber setting up points.

8 Gold
Chelsea 8th Grade Gold Volleyball won an exciting match against Dexter on Monday night (25-21) (22-25) (25-19).

Kylie Schroeder was the star server of the night, placing the ball exactly where she needed to. The setters Avery Edwards and Adde Collins made smart plays and earned several points off of their dump-sets.

Charlotte Ewen and Grace Jaynes dominated the net as well, blocking Dexter’s hitters and tipping to their open spots. Dexter’s serves didn’t stand a chance against Chelsea’s receiving either as all the players hustled to every ball.
